Dr. Jürgen Wolters

Dr. Jürgen Wolters, born in Cologne in 1965, studied law and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main and Milan before becoming a long-standing partner at Germany’s largest law firm specializing in insurance and liability law. Here, and as a partner at a major international law firm, he focused on liability law, in particular medical malpractice and financial loss liability.

He has provided forensic and advisory services to almost all insurance companies and has proven expertise in the settlement of personal injury and major claims. As a result of his successful legal practice, he was first appointed to the supervisory board and then to the executive board of a well-known insurance company.

With numerous publications and lectures, including at the German Academy of Judges and Lawyers, and as co-founder and chairman of the board of the German Association for Financial Loss Liability (DGVH e.V.), Dr. Wolters is one of the leading experts in liability and insurance law.
